About Us
Michelle Musick
Michelle has a Bachelor of Accounting from Texas Tech University and has been a CPA since 2003. She also graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law and has been licensed to practice in Texas since 1996. After spending 15 years at the Texas Workforce Commission as an Administrative Law Judge, she currently is a revenue estimator for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. She previously worked as a tax policy expert in Franchise Tax.
After working for John M. Vail, CPA for 15 years on a part time basis, she purchased the firm in 2020 after John passed away. Michelle has experience in all types of taxes from business, personal and international. The firm is laid back and is easily accessible to answer our clients questions.
James Musick
James has been a bookkeeper with MIchelle Musick, CPA for the last two years. He graduated from Texas State in 2020 with a degree in Business Management with an HR concentration. After having worked at the firm for a few months, James decided it would be in his best interest to go back to school and pursue his CPA so that he may better assist our current and future clients! James is also Quickbooks advanced certified as well as being very proficient with most banking/accounting systems you may have. He is always ready to provide you the help you need!
Katie Musick
Katie graduated from Texas A&M in 2022 with a bachelors in Psychology, and is now going back to school to get her major in Accounting. She is currently attending full time classes in order to get her CPA and is working part time at the firm. Katie is Quickbooks advanced certified. To date, Katie has attained a 4.0 in her accounting degree. She is eager to meet you and help with whatever you need!
